as far as the rust, the majority will be on the inside of the frame mainly on the heat treated joints. could you please elaborate on the cable housings as I think these have more effect on the gear change more than anything else. did you notice that the gear switching was going off after you loaded your bike - it could be due to the steel bending.

Oh, I randomly saw this update and of course had to watch it! So much information, good tips and views! Your language is pleasant to listen, thanks for translation anyways 😅 here in Finland its very pleasant when house got floor heated, although I live in a van so I have indoor shoes. And a wood stove at winter ... You are well prepared for threats, I see! Ready to protect yourself, that's a good mindset. You can fool them by pretending helpless so they lower their "shield", and give them a lesson 💪 i hope that you will never encounter that kind of thing, peace & love is best thing to have! You have bring so much good here that i'll offer you cup of hot drink, thank you Jin!

So glad you spoke about the distance of the bike paths...they need to coincide with/go along the side of the roads. I've been on some that have cut off abruptly and then have the audacity to have a "no cycling" sign right after the cut off 🤔🤔🤔

Be careful of condensation from your own heat in winter, inside the tent. Both the humidity you have perceived in your sleeping bag and around the tent are your own breathing, which, if not managed, can end in pneumonia. I suggest - again - wearing clothing made of merino wool. To dry your tent there are several applications that allow you to locate the sunrise when camping and thus take advantage of that heat (at least sunlight) of the morning to dry it from dawn until you leave.

The following info I found, maybe it helps: "In South Korea, there is a solar bike lane for bicycles in the middle of a highway, which protects cyclists from the sun and at the same time generates solar energy. The bicycle path runs for 32 kilometers between Daejeon and Sejong."
